Digital Art (Ages 9+)

Step into the world of digital creativity! This class introduces young artists to digital drawing and design using professional art tools and software. Students will learn how to create characters, landscapes, and imaginative artwork while exploring concepts like layering, shading, and color theory in a digital space.

At this time, we are unable to provide students with technology for this class. We recommend using an iPad with a stylus, but a laptop with a drawing tablet can also work. If access to technology is a barrier to participation, please contact us—we’re happy to discuss options!

Mixed Media Studio

(Ages 9+)

Get ready to experiment, layer, and create! In this hands-on mixed media art class, young artists will explore painting, printing, and collage while learning how different materials work together. Kids will paint with brushes and tools, make their own prints using simple printmaking techniques, and combine papers, textures, and found materials to build dynamic artworks.
This class encourages creativity, curiosity, and playful problem-solving—there’s no “right” way to make art here. Students will learn basic art concepts like color, texture, composition, and layering, while developing confidence in their own unique style. Perfect for kids who love to try new things and get a little messy while making something amazing.

This class is a great way to explore creativity while learning hands-on techniques for jewelry making. No experience needed—just bring your imagination!

In this playful, hands-on fiber arts class, students ages 9–15 will explore the magic of wet felting using soft, colorful wool roving. Through experimentation, creativity, and play, students will discover how loose fibers can be layered and transformed into strong felt surfaces. Working with this flexible 2D material, students will develop 3D forms such as vessels and  2D abstract landscapes, thinking about texture, color, and form in new ways. The class emphasizes curiosity over perfection and offers a welcoming introduction to fiber arts. Simple sewn embellishments may be added to personalize finished pieces. No prior experience is needed.
